Observation notes: Found in Yreka California, late morning, sitting on the stem of a grapevine. September 15,2016 was about a 75 degrees, not to hot. We have a large shade tree where the Caterpillar was sighted so even though it may have been 75 degrees out it would have been a little cooler in the grapevine, due to the shade.
