Observation notes: Pale green/teal, smooth, large caterpillar, about a size of adult man's finger, found under the grape vine. Seems to have pale eye-like markings on the hind end. No patterns, no hairs, no tail. Wasn't eating anything, rather convulsing on the ground. Several leaves of the grape vine were eaten off completely. Sunny day, long drought, the plants were watered night before.
