Observation notes: Thick clusters of these near Sims Mountain. These were taken at a roadside pullout with a view of the valley below. Specimens were very worn by this point, but still perching and chasing on Canyon Oak. Upper parts of the trees are accessible for photography at this location owing to the steep slope. Photos of multiple specimens.
