Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: In the grass and flowers along the road. I think this is the most likely of the banded blacks, neither appear common in Wisconsin. Submission 1284437 was identified as 6799 (Spodolepsis substriata) on BG, must be a very worn one, but I can see it now.

Coordinator notes: Another one of those moths that is an either/or - Rheumaptera hastata or Rheumaptera subhastata - https://bugguide.net/node/view/196038. I'll see if I can have a listing added for this combo.
