Clouded Sulphur
Colias philodice

Observation date: September 07, 2024
Submitted by: ezeemonee
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Near South Willow Creek Trail. Partly cloudy day in the 70’s F. ~9-10K ft elevation.
Status: Resident
Verified by: mikefisher
Verified date: September 25, 2024
Coordinator notes: Looks like Scudder's Sulphur from the upperside...except the orange disc spot is too orange for scudderi (it is much yellower on males...can be quite orange on some females and most of those are creamish white...yellow female with very orange disc spot). The underside photos clearly demonstrate a Clouded Sulphur. Mike
