Iris Borer Moth (Macronoctua onusta)
Bethune's Pinon (Lithophane bethunei)
Spiny Looper (Phigalia titea)
Twenty-nine Missouri butterfly and moth records were added to the database. (MO-18March09)

Nemoria bistriaria and Nemoria mimosaria were moved from the subfamily Ennominae to Geometrinae.
129 new Indiana butterfly records were added from Howell Curtis.
The Bethune's Pinion (Lithophane bethunei) species account was updated.
The Spiny Looper (Phigalia titea) species account was updated.
The scientific name of the Desert Green Hairstreak was updated to Callophrys sheridanii comstocki.
The Sharp-angled Carpet (Euphyia unangulata) was once thought to be a holarctic species and this scientific name was applied to the North American and European moths. Now, the North American moth is considered a separate species: Euphyia intermediata. So, all Euyphyia unangulata records were moved to E. intermediata and E. unangulata was removed from the database.
