Observation notes: I picked it up off the ground this morning in Roosevelt Co. NM thinking it was dead. The temps were in the 20's here overnight and it was still quite cold when I found it. I took it to my car and sat it on my dash. Later when I returned it apparently warmed enough it was moving its wings but not flying. The wings are translucent.
