Observation notes: Butterfly was feeding on a "weed" in my flower garden - quite possibly "horseweed".

Coordinator notes: I haven't heard of any other sighting of L. cassius in New England. Historically it seems they haven't come so far north. Perhaps with warmer weather they're venturing further north. I classed this as a 'stray' but without more data it's difficult to know whether it now occurs in Connecticut.
