Observation notes: Time: ~9:40 p.m. Habitat: A large bush of flowers at the edge of a lawn, next to the sidewalk. Notes: I came across this Cabbage Looper moth avidly nectaring at a large bush of purple flowers (pictured here), which I believe may be purple sage. I captured it for my National Moth Week "moth house" event.
