Coordinator notes: That's a Juba Skipper Tim, a fresh female. The spot pattern on the underside is very distinctive, especially the two upper spots on the hindwings which are stacked one right on top of the other so they almost look like one large spot. Too early in the year for the Western Branded Skipper which usually does not begin to fly until about mid-July in Gunnison County (such as around Gothic-Crested Butte). Mike
