Observation notes: I see that both of these are reported at Big Morongo, but I can't figure out how to tell them apart, and/or which reports are correctly identified.

Coordinator notes: The only way to know for sure is what buckwheat they are using, deserti uses Eriogonum inflatum, I can't totally rule out mormo, but the hindwing looks like normal deserti-Ken Davenport
