Observation notes: Conditions: upper 60s F.; sunny; light wind. Habitat: residential neighborhood with patches of mixed pine-hardwoods, ponds, clearings. I've been observing this small colony of J.HS.s in this cedar tree on private property since first reporting them in 2017. Flights observed in March (every year) and July (at least one year, 2017), typically about 3 adults seen at a time. 3/8/20 was FOS observation this year.
