Date notes: it looks like lycaenidae but I’ve never seen one like it. It was so camouflaged with the gravel on the drive but was undoubtedly paddling on the damp course in the garden to the right.
I’ve never seen anything quite like it here in the Rocky Mountain’s of Colorado and I’m an avid fan of the blues. The tiny little orange curl on the lower underside wing, the lack of typical blue style spots and markings on the wing fascinated me. Please help please f you are able.

it was sunny and hot, i only saw it land on the rocky drive, then lost site
catmint was close by and damp earth

Coordinator notes: Certainly this species even though it is in very poor flight condition. Note: You stated, "....between Woody Creek and Basalt..." If that is correct, then the correct county is Pitkin, not Garfield. The map plot point with the sighting is basically right on Carbondale and if that is the case, then Garfield County is correct.
