Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Looking back on photos from earlier this summer, I noticed this individual was was slightly different than the other Eastern Tiger Swallowtails I had photographed in the area. The underside marginal yellow spots seemed closer to being fused into a band, and weren't distinct individual spots as in other specimens. This area is very close to the southern extent of the P. canadensis range and I know that hybridizations can also occur...I was wondering if this could be a hybrid individual?

Coordinator notes: This male has most of the characteristic features of the hybrid in Pennsylvania. The early flight ("EF") hybrid and late flight ("LF") hybrid are not connected.
