Coordinator notes: I wish I had an upper view of this one. Sometimes Polygonia gracilis can look just like that, but gracilis probably does not occur in that county. As I recall, you are familiar with Oreas Anglewings. I have fond memories of going through poison oak patches and wading streams to find them in Monterey County. Not easy to find but I've been fortunate-Ken Davenport
