Coordinator notes: Based on general markings and location, this is most likely an Eastern Pine Elfin (C. niphon). It is clearly different from the Western Pine Elfin (C. eryphon) photographs I have from Cypress Hills and is a good match to an Eastern Pine Elfin I photographed in Ontario years ago. The submarginal black line on the hindwing is quite faint on your sighting which is a bit different but not enough to change my identification.
