Observation notes: Individual was found in a shaded area nearby exterior lighting. It was clinging upside down to a canvas, with the end of its abdomen highly arched and its hindmost set of legs extended behind it, pressed together. Abdomen thickens near the end, then tapers at the tip. The wings were held outstretched in a T position. Colouring is primarily dark and mottled with white, with pale V-shaped markings along the dorsal side of the body, and similar pale stripes along the legs and wings. Antennae are long and flagellate, but visibly sectioned in the light.
