Observation notes: Butterfly was flying between low growing plants atop, open and rocky, Sunset Point overlooking Huntington Lake, Fresno County, CA, USA. This area of the Sierra National Forest was decimated by the Creek Fire in September, 2020. Large areas of forest burned completely with isolated areas of vegetation and mature trees surviving. Low growing plants and bushes are returning to the burned areas.
