Observation notes: Found along Bilk Creek Trail. There were a few flowering meadows and plenty of flowering plants along the trail as well. I photographed this individual on an aster.

Coordinator notes: Correct ID...the lower altitude subspecies idaho with a uniformly colored hindwings although idaho has a wide range of variation in disc color and size of spots in the macular bands...kind of a catch-all name from western Colorado through the Great Basin. Mike
