Observation date: October 10, 2022

Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Away from any nearby oak belt and in the foothills of the Tucson Mountains, this somewhat worn individual was nectaring at lantana and thermoregulating in trees early in the morning. First time I’ve ever seen one pass through on our property of saguaro cacti, ironwood and palo verde trees!
