Observation notes: Next to a cow trail in a grassland made almost exclusively of a single grass species, pictured, and studded with large juniper bushes. Low grazing intensity. Open pine forest above the location.

Coordinator notes: nice one, Marta! I've peered at both images but do not see a grass, so I am going to surmise the grass is blue grama (Bouteloua gracilis) its only know larval host.
