Date notes: Caterpillar was found and placed inside a cage of dirt so it could form it's cocoon. It formed a cocoon maybe 2 weeks after it was found.

Observation notes: The caterpillar was found in the fall, around September 28, on an outdoor deck - cool temperatures. It was kept inside the entirety of it's caterpillar/cocoon stage. It finally emerged (after days of being a very wiggly cocoon) on or around May 12!
