Observation notes: Observed nectaring on White Achillea in a rich steep oak scrub environment on the east side of the Santa Cruz mountains. At first glance thought it was a common Gray, but looking at the photo changed my mind. Pleasant low 70's sunny day. Spring is holding on late this year. Many perennials and Buckeye in bloom and the grass is still green.
