Observation notes: Observed late night at 11:28pm. Weather was warm. Pointy abdomen makes me believe it was a female. Its wings and patterns look to be very distinct to a Walnut Sphinx. However I doubt the only nutty trees around this area are pecan trees, which leads me to believe it might be lost. Did some research and usually they’re mostly only found in west Texas. I’m on east Texas.
