Observation notes: On fire road displaying male territorial behavior. then posting up near host waiting for a female or any rival. Very Small as you can see by the grass seeds that this is on. also posting photo's of the lotus this species is always staying near or depositing eggs in the case of females. I have showed these photo's to Brett and he agrees that the ID is correct for this butterfly. Very agressive fast flyer. In our area this is the host that I find these Butterflies on or near.
