Coordinator notes: Mixed characteristics seen between the two subspecies L. a. arthemis and L. a. astyanax (more astyanax here), suggesting an intergrade. This can also be termed the basic common name "Red-spotted Admiral," which is a basic name given to the whole species L. arthemis. -jmgesell
