Observation notes: https://www.inaturalist.org/posts/53116-hypoprepia-lichen-moths-what-a-mess. This article has brought me no closer to deciding between H. fucosa and H. miniata as the correct ID. In looking at a LOT of photos on line, I chose fucosa. The thorax in the second photo submitted appears to have a somewhat darker area in the middle of the thorax, with the outer edges becoming somewhat red. Who knows! Maybe I'll find a caterpillar some day!
