Observation notes: This one just strikes me as a different pattern than the other one I submitted for the same day and area. Smaller spots /dotting on upper wings. I am hoping these two photos represent the same species but I don't know.

Coordinator notes: Yes, the Mormon Fritillary...sometime lighter, darker (especially females) but in the higher mountains, flies fairly early in summer...Mike
