Observation notes: One individual observed nectaring on Eriogonum ovalifolium in Pinyon-juniper woodland. There were a few E. ovalifolium plants blooming at Jackson Lake, but I didn't find any Euphilotes there. It was very cool to see this rare butterfly up close.

Coordinator notes: thanks for getting this in the system. I went up there (Brown Spring Cpgd.) in early June - too late - but noticed that the host was not terribly abundant. possibly good that you got this one while you could. I also noticed additional species of Eriogonum there, besides ovalifolium, and they should produce one or more of the late-summer dotted-blues like ellisii, rita coloradensis, or pallescens. I can't get there, but maybe you can check it out? I suggested hopefully :^)
