Observation notes: Thought I had a White M Hairstreak with the extra ventral mark (and a late date), but now that I can look at the photo closely and tell it is a Gray. No idea what that extra mark is on he ventral HW. Apologies for the poor photo quality.

Coordinator notes: The white mark may be an aberrant marking. It could also be a small thin plant part that is stuck on the VHW ... and in shining brilliantly.
