Observation notes: Blue butterfly, with various patterns on the wing's underside, landing on some grasses. Day is sunny with a light breeze. Because this butterfly is very hard to photograph I stuck with a single subject to get the dorsal and ventral views to aid in ID. Found this one is listed as a subspecies of an Echo Azure.

Coordinator notes: I can't say if this is nigrescens or not...I have never encountered that entity and Warren's book also lacked clarity of what nigrescens is and its range.-Ken Davcenport
