Observation notes: This caterpillar was found inside a Purple Coneflower (Echinacea augustfloria). I found the damaged flower head and cut it open to find the caterpillar. UPDATE!! 8/20/2013, I believe I found what this is: http://www.invasive.org/browse/detail.cfm?imgnum=5364204

Coordinator notes: Based on photos from the following websites, I believe the suggested id of Homoeosoma electellum is correct.
