Coordinator notes: This the first sighting of this species from Alameda County on the BAMONA database. Good job! If you are interested you can probably find more moths by checking porch/patio lights and other outdoor light sources at night and in the morning, although there aren't as many moths out in November/December. (but in lowland California there are usually at least a few moths out year-round, with the spring flights starting as early as January/February) Josiah Gilbert
