Observation notes: attracted to light. Our immediate area includes alder, spruce, pine oak, birch, blueberries, raspberries, lichen and mosses. I would not have ben able to ID this by myself. I submitted it to Bugguide.net and this suggestd ID was their response. Moth is about 3/4".
