Coordinator notes: Various sources call this species, with its unique undulating curved forewings, a resident or stray of the lower Rio Grande Valley. Based on the figure in Kaufman Focus Guide "Butterflies of North America" (2003) p. 151, I believe this is a male of the species. SAT
