Observation notes: Spotted the moth inside a port-john at the trailhead. It was just sitting in the corner of the structure. Cool morning (about 62 F), mostly sunny conditions.

Coordinator notes: This is either <i>Xanthotype sospeta</i>,<i>Xanthotype urticaria</i>, or <i>Xanthotype attenuaria</i>. These species cannot be reliably separated without examination of the genitalia.
