Observation notes: Caterpillar found on odd host plant, Xanthxylem americanum.
A paler band on moth abdomen and light edges around
wing shading — neither well depicted in photograph —
suggest Pandemis limitata rather than Choristoneura parallela.
Note: parallela is reported to feed on citrus, i.e. Xanthoxylem.
