Observation notes: Sunny day, about 9C. About a dozen of these were either flying about in the underbrush or resting on the sunny side of several oak trunks. This one caught my attention as it was flapping its wings while on the tree trunk. Closer inspection revealed that it had been captured by an insect and was being dragged up the tree trunk.
