Observation notes: We had multiple of these same caterpillars. They all migrated onto the patio and made their way near the door and along the base of the bricks on the house. Almost like they were scrambling to get away from something. Some of them even tried to climb on the bricks on the side of the house. We have only two plants nearby. One of a large tree and the other is a small bush. I have not seen any of these in either tree. I have looked them up online and cannot find another caterpillar similar so I was hoping you could shed some light on whether it will become a butterfly or a moth.
