Observation notes: Mating pair on lupine bud. This is a very good year for green hairstreaks at this location with many observed. Warm, sunny afternoon with temperature in mid 80's F, no wind. Patrolling and courtship behavior along the trail. This was a wet spring with a good flower bloom.
