Observation notes: I observed this Skipper at Coyote Ridge Open Space located between Loveland and Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado. This is where short grass prairie meets the hogback foothills of the Front Range, elevation roughly 5,400' . This particular spot was mixed prairie grasses, junipers and mountain mahogany.

Coordinator notes: Correctly identified by the observer as the Dusted Skipper. It is much bigger than a Common Sootywing. Maybe you took this picture around Horsetooth Reservoir? It is a well know area for this skipper. Mike
