Observation notes: In grassy area took flight and dove into grass again, about a little smaller than cabbage butterfly, warm day mid to high 70's rain later in the day, partly sunny by this time!

Coordinator notes: There are two species of Xanthotype (sospeta and urticaria) in our area but they cannot be distinguished by photo alone. Dissection is necessary to determine species. SG
