Observation notes: At least 8 small skippers (??) on my lantana today, 8/20/17. There are 2 "varieties" - though maybe male and female of same species as they seem "interested" in each other? One is browner w/ a white line at top of hindwing; the other is yellower w/scattered spotting. Note there are 3 butterflies in photo.
