Coordinator notes: Sorry your sighting has been pending for so long! Similarly to your other sighting from this time and place, this is a Mormon Fritillary. It might look a little different due to genetic variation, but this is the only fritillary in Rocky Mountain National Park that flies in mid-August in the subalpine zone (~10,700 ft. for this sighting; in Colorado the subalpine is about 9,500 to 11,500 ft.).
