Observation notes: This beautiful large moth flew inside one warm summer night. While flying appeared black and gold, but upon looking closer has a deep indigo pigment. It seemed to be attracted to objects with a gold color. Vibrated its wings rapidly for a few seconds at rest before taking flight.
