Observation notes: Hot dry mostly sunny dry stream bed on nectar, have always read that this species loves yellow flowers they also use desert lavender. This yellow flowering shrub is scale Broom or Lepidospartum squamatum, Great purple hairstreak seems to like this also Sweet bush and desert golden bush. Last visit to this area i saw no more gph? done until next rain? no females this visit. Three or four males so females must be around!
