Observation notes: Sunny, windy, 80-85 degrees, a few cumulus clouds. The butterfly was flitting low along the weedy gravel road, and paused for a moment. Nearby were goldenrod, lespedeza, queen anne's lace, poison ivy, mixed weeds and grasses, oak, locust, juniper, sycamore, persimmon, autumn olive, multiflora rose, honeysuckle, japanese knotweed.
