Observation notes: The insect was sitting on a sandy path within the Fort De Soto Park's North Beach in Florida. This is in the St. Petersburg area. The insect was about 200 feet from the shoreline. It was alive and flipped itself back into position after a gust of wind blew it over. The day was sunny and about 82 degrees Fahrenheit.
