Coordinator notes: Little information available on this species. Based on photos and various accounts of distribution on the internet (Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Cuba, Dominican Republic), I believe Nyridela xanthocera is the species in this sighting. Also id'd on bugguide.net, which shows more info on location and observation. Possibly first record of this species in the U.S.
