Observation notes: Very warm day. Found these butterflies to be numerous. All were in relative shade on the forest flood. Hard to get a decent picture. They were in an oak habitat in a small gully. These butterflies had tan legs. Glassberg states, "the tan legs, unique among western hairstreaks."
